About Dr. Mini Nair
The story behind the chair.
Dr. Mini Nair was born and raised in India, where she earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery and practiced for four years before moving to the Middle East. She practiced for four years with the Ministry of Health and another five years in a private hospital setting in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, before relocating to the United States in 2009.
In the U.S., Dr. Nair conducted stem cell research at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, then completed a General Practice Residency with the University of Massachusetts and Berkshire Medical Center in 2016 — covering trauma call, full-mouth extractions, biopsies, and complex restorative work. She went on to practice for seven years at two community health centers in Boston, focused on caring for the underserved.
After contract work in Wisconsin and Virginia, Dr. Nair found her place leading Shenandoah Dental Center on the I-81 corridor. Her clinical depth — twenty-plus years across three continents — is matched by an unhurried, judgment-free chairside manner. She explains every option clearly, listens before recommending, and treats every patient like a neighbor.
Outside the office, Dr. Nair enjoys traveling, exploring nature, music and singing, interior design, cooking, and spending quality time with her son.
What Your Visit Feels Like
- You're heard first.Every visit starts with a real conversation — what brought you in, what you're worried about, what you want your smile to feel like.
- You get clear answers. X-rays, diagnoses, options, costs — all in plain language, before any decisions get made.
- You leave with choices, not pressure. Information and options — not a same-day hard sell.
- Your anxiety is met with compassion. Sedation options, extra time, and a pace that feels right to you.
