At Shenandoah Dental Center, we are delighted to introduce Dr. Mini Padmaja Nair, DDS, as our new Lead Dentist. Dr. Nair brings a wealth of international experience, a passion for patient care, and a commitment to excellence in dentistry.
Meet Dr. Mini Padmaja Nair
Dr. Mini Padmaja Nair was born and brought up in India, where she completed her Bachelor's in Dentistry and practiced for four years. She then moved to the Middle East, working with the Ministry of Health and in a private hospital setting in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, for a combined total of nine years.
In 2009, Dr. Nair relocated to the United States, where she participated in stem cell research at the University of Pennsylvania Dental School. She then completed a General Practice Residency with UMASS and Berkshire Medical Center in 2016. During her tenure at BMC, Dr. Nair provided trauma care, performed full-mouth extractions, tori removal, biopsies, and managed both fixed and removable prostheses.
After receiving her Doctorate, Dr. Nair practiced dentistry in Boston, MA, at two different community health centers over seven years, focusing on providing care for the needy and less fortunate. More recently, she moved to Virginia and has been working on contract jobs in Wisconsin and Virginia for various private dental offices.

Dr. Nair is dedicated to delivering quality and compassionate family dental care across a wide range of dental treatments. She believes in empowering patients by helping them understand the importance of their oral health and involving them actively in tailored dental care strategies. Her approach ensures that each patient receives personalized and effective care.

Dr. Nair is excited to call the beautiful Shenandoah Valley her new home and looks forward to serving patients in the surrounding areas. Her commitment to the community and enthusiasm for providing top-notch dental care align perfectly with the values of Shenandoah Dental Center.
Life Beyond Dentistry
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Nair enjoys traveling, exploring nature, singing/music, interior designing, cooking, and spending quality time with her son.
